In many cases, asset valuations do require a site inspection, as they primarily focus on many in situ factors that come into play when valuing assets. However, there may be situations where a site inspection is not necessary or beneficial depending on the asset type or location.
For example, operational or closed down manufacturing plants where all of the assets are to be valued would need a site inspection. However, some motor vehicles, transport equipment or earth moving equipment can be completed from our office with the correct information supplied to us.
